Visit to the Hitton Farm — Donkey breeding, soap making and distillation

Voted France's Favorite Farm 2021, the Ferme du Hitton welcomes you to the heart of Gers, 1 hour 30 minutes from Toulouse and with direct access from Blagnac airport via the Nationale.

On 90 hectares, we raise around thirty Pyrenean donkeys — a protected local breed — and collect their milk to make handcrafted cosmetics. We also cultivate aromatic plants (lavender, thyme, rosemary, savory, hyssop, helichrysum, etc.) which we distill on site to produce essential oils and hydrosols.

Guided tour — by reservation. From April 1st to October 30th. Depending on the season: milking donkeys, harvesting aromatic plants, distillation. €8/adult — free for under 18s.

Shop: Soaps, donkey milk cosmetics, essential oils, hydrosols — all made on the farm.

  • Low season (excluding July and August): Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • July and August: every day, 9am-7pm
  • Closures: August 22-31 · December 24-31 · 1 week in February (school holidays)

Languages spoken: French, English.
